Bio

Kent Bond was born in San Jose, California in 1953. Originally trained privately in water color as a child his preoccupation with mythology and old masters kindled a love for drawing and painting the human form. Bond attended the California College of Arts and Crafts , now College of the Arts in Oakland, California where he received a BFA in painting in 1975. In 1979 he received a Masters degree in painting from UC Berkeley. He lives and paints in Santa Cruz, California.
